A Bookmark in Proper Position
I perched firmly atop the armrest cushion with a Dog Man comic spread wide across my lap, entirely committed to finishing Chapter Three before bed. The glossy corner kept curling inward, threatening to obscure a key panel, which frankly was not acceptable. I retrieved a polished wooden ice cream stick, wedged it neatly under the crease, and smoothed the page flat with two deliberate downward strokes of both plush paws. It took three careful nudges to align the stick perfectly parallel with the spine. Now my reading station is immaculate, and I can finally turn in.
