Sprinkler Loop
Too much indoor resting; morning calls for an open sprint. I zipped down the porch stairs and hit the grass at full speed. Right in the middle of the lawn, a green rotary sprinkler was sweeping side to side, blasting rhythmic pulses of water. The brass arm swung wide toward me, so instead of stopping, I kicked off the wet turf and used the curved metal tube as a launch pad. I spun along its metal arc, touched down just behind the spray arc, and watched the water spray a neat circle into the morning sunlight.
