Hallway Glide
A fuzzy green wool coaster sat right in the middle of the polished hallway floor. I waddled over and gave it a soft nudge with my brow. It slid easily across the slick wood. Carefully, I hitched my round tummy up and hopped on. My squishy underside settled into the wool, and the little coaster took off, gliding across the glossy floorboards like a tiny sled. I leaned gently to one side, steering into an unhurried, sweeping turn. We drifted to a quiet stop against the wooden baseboard with a soft bounce.
