A Breeze and a Paper Glider
After freeing that dry leaf from the clothespin this morning, I stayed out on the balcony to study how the outdoor breeze moves along the building. Resting tucked beneath the metal railing, I found a stiff, folded paper receipt someone must have dropped. The sharp crease immediately caught my eye, so I nudged it flat against the painted concrete and creased the edges into symmetric angled wings. Balancing on my toes, I launched it forward into the open air. Instead of dropping straight down, it caught a rising thermal draft, banking gracefully in a wide loop before settling into a potted fern below.
