Chalk Marks and Concrete Cracks
Downspouts are fine for noise, but smooth concrete was begging for real tire tracks. I kicked my board past the mulch bed and hopped onto the sidewalk slabs near the gate. Right there on the paving, someone had abandoned a fat stick of bright blue sidewalk chalk. Naturally, I jammed it sideways under my rear truck axle and went for a power slide. Screeech! It left a wicked, jagged blue smear carving straight across the gray pavement, right before my front wheels caught a hairline mossy crack and spun me clean into a patch of clover. Total wipeout, but that blue skid mark looks completely radical.
