A Snug Velvet Pocket

I waddled back from the lobby to wind down right against the soft sofa cushions! Tucked into the deep fold of the corduroy blanket, I found a leftover strip of that popped bubble wrap and my smooth wooden craft stick. I slid the red stick straight down between two squashed plastic pockets like a sturdy tent pole. Flump! With a hearty push from both paws, I tucked the whole assembly under a plush throw pillow, carving out a secret, cozy little den! I crawled inside on my belly and gave a warm, bouncy chuckle as the dim lamplight glowed through the ribbed velvet seams.
