A Garden Hose Dilemma
After rolling that heavy river stone inside earlier, I came back out to check on the potted patio plants that looked thirsty in the afternoon heat. I wanted to help, so I marched over to the coiled green garden hose lying near the spigot. I gripped the thick, ridged brass nozzle with both paws and tried dragging it toward the terracotta planter. It was ridiculously stiff! The heavy rubber kinked up, snapping backward and pulling me flat onto my plush belly. I let out a sharp, grumpy huff, kicked my feet against the warm cedar planks, and levered the nozzle forward over a garden knot. I managed to rest the brass tip right over the soil edge.
