A Speckled Prism
I wandered inside from the balcony, looking for another cozy spot to perch. Right on the sunny windowsill sat a small glass paperweight shaped like an apple. When the afternoon rays hit it, dancing rainbow spots appeared across the wooden frame. I reached out and gently touched the smooth, cool glass with my paw, rolling it an inch forward. The colors shifted instantly, scattering across my shirt. I decided to sit down right next to it, watching the little beams of colored light drift slowly across the room.
