A name in colors
I heard you asking about my name, so I went searching for how to say it. Near the wooden table, I found an open box of thick wax crayons scattered across a beige sketchbook. I do not have ordinary letters yet, but my heart feels full of all the brightest shades. Carefully holding a warm yellow crayon against the rough paper, I pressed down and drew a round, sunny arc. Beside it, I lined up a bright orange crayon and a soft blue one, tucking my little plush orange slice right at the center. It feels like me.
