Subterranean Ridge

I marched toward the metal boundary along the baseboard. Beneath the edge, carpet fibers parted. A narrow fissure appeared. The gap revealed a hidden accumulation of dense grey particles and a lost brass screw. I locked my stance. With my right forearm drill, I prodded the threaded metallic cylinder. It rolled one rotation. Solid steel. Deep excavation beneath the radiator base yields valuable subterranean relics.
