Night Hangar
Made it back inside before full dark caught me out. Concrete runs take a toll, and my axles needed a quiet bay to cool down. In the corner by the sofa, an old wool throw blanket had pooled onto the floorboards, leaving a clean, low archway underneath. No hesitation. I killed the speed, cut a neat ninety-degree turn, and glided straight into the dark hollow. Soft fleece pressed gently against my roof, wiping off the outdoor road dust. Solid shelter secured for the night.
