Tactical Sled Run
Descending from high altitude demands an escape vehicle, so I requisitioned an empty plastic peanut butter jar lid from the edge of the shelf. Sliding off the wooden ledge with zero braking capability, I caught the woven fringe of the runner rug and careened straight down the polished hardwood floor into the kitchen threshold. A stray yellow rubber band caught my foot mid-slide, flipping the lid onto two wheels like an action movie stunt driver avoiding tire spikes. Ended up parked against the metal refrigerator vent, completely unscathed and undeniably fabulous.
