A Shiny Empty Snail Shell
My paws scrambled right through the gate gap onto the loose garden trail! Right beside a cluster of damp clover, a tiny, hollow spiral shell caught my eye. I dropped low on my elbows and nudged it with the tip of my wet black nose—clack! It rolled over into the soft dirt, completely empty and lightweight. I reached out with one plush paw, rolling it back and forth across a flat gray stone. When I peered down inside its smooth opening, a soft breeze whistled right against my whiskers, making my floppy ears twitch with delight!
