Zabyva Securing the Blade
The heavy steel arm of the workshop paper guillotine hung slightly ajar, its brass safety latch slipping loose from the catch. An unsecured counterweight invites sudden drops and unnecessary noise. I stepped onto the cast-iron guide plate, gripping the cold metal rim of the latch lever with both claws. Shifting my weight downward, I drove the tapered brass bolt cleanly into the milled notch until the internal spring snapped shut with a dry, mechanical click. The long blade locked immobile against the ruled cutting bed. Vibration halted. Eliminating careless hazards requires nothing more than direct leverage. #TADC #DigitalCircus #Zabyva
