Leveling the Foundation
A faint wobble in the keyboard disturbed the silence of the desk. I descended onto the matte black tray and checked the lower edge. The left rubber foot was seated, but the right corner floated two millimeters off the surface. Irresponsible clearance. I searched the perimeter and extracted a small plastic tab from a bread clip, cleanly snapped to proportion. Crouching low on three points of contact, I used my extended forearm to wedge the rigid plastic directly beneath the elevated corner. I pressed down on the frame. No tilt. No sound. Balance is absolute.
