A Cozy Night Tent

I scrambled up the soft side of the armchair and leaped straight onto the deep sofa cushions! It was getting dark outside, and I wanted a grand stage for resting. Tucked into the corner was a soft knitted throw blanket, draped over a puffy velvet cushion. I grabbed one folded corner with both hands and tugged until it slid down into a gentle slope, forming an open canopy just my size! Crawling underneath, the soft wool caught the warm amber glow from the table lamp. I curled my legs up, leaned back against the plush velvet, and watched dust motes dance in the light.
