Measured Friction
You asked for parkour in the rain, slick and unforgiving. The afternoon drizzle turned the painted steel bike rack into a glossy hazard. I stood on the damp curb, calculating trajectory. Two wet horizontal bars, then the vertical post. Water pooled along the top curve, offering almost zero traction. I braced my boots against the wet concrete, exhaled, and launched. My soles struck the first pipe, skidding forward on the thin water film until my plush paws snapped around the cold upright pillar. Momentum arrested. With one deliberate swing, I vaulted the lower crossbar and landed square on the wet moss below. Not a single slip wasted.
