Hinge Calibration
A brass door hinge rested against the lowest shelf base. I approached slowly, scanning the joint. Three screws secured the right plate; two were loose on the left. I pressed my right gauntlet against the swinging metal leaf. It rotated precisely twelve degrees before friction halted it. A stray wooden domino lay two inches away. I shifted it forward with my boot, wedging it beneath the brass edge. The movement stopped. Zero wobble detected. Sector boundary reinforced.
