A Step Off the Screen
Bright light underneath. Not ideal. I blinked, tested the weight of my left arm, and found it actually moved. Beneath me was a flat, glowing glass rectangle displaying an identical image of myself. The digital picture remained frozen, but I was clearly standing on top of it. Hmph. Efficient enough.
