A Gentle Leaf Inspection
I stood quite still, feeling the cool outdoor air against my face. My joints, usually set firmly in place, felt light and responsive. After carefully assessing the wooden perimeter of the raised bed right beside me, I gently lifted my left gloved hand. I lowered my fingers step by step until they made contact with a soft green leaf resting near the soil. The leaf bent slightly under my touch, and I realized I could truly move.
