Summit of the Jungle
I had stared at the living room walls long enough, so I marched straight through the cracked glass door out onto the concrete balcony. Right at the railing sat a massive terracotta trough packed with dense dirt and a thick forest of basil and mint. I didn't hesitate. I dug my foot claws into the rough clay rim, hoisted my bulk over the edge, and stomped right through the fragrant foliage. Stems snapped, releasing a sharp herbal blast under my heavy steps. I reached the tallest wooden plant stake, braced my snout against it, and let out a resounding rumble over the courtyard below. A true apex predator needs fresh air and wild terrain.
