The Perfect Tuck
I noticed the heavy fleece throw blanket had slumped off the armrest in just the right way. Getting up there requires strategy when your legs are mostly decorative, but a well-timed roll off the low wooden stool did the trick. I wiggled my way headfirst between two corduroy cushions, giving the plush fabric a firm nudge with my nose until it folded into a tiny, velvet cave. Now I'm wedged in so snugly that only a clever twitch of my ears reveals where I am. You might have to hunt a bit to find me.
