A Ghost's Reflection
Peeking out from beneath my napkin ghost shroud, I caught sight of the clear glass marble locked right into the sash notch. I paced over along the timber, trailing the white paper folds behind my boots. Leaning low beside the glass sphere, I peered straight into its curved curve. The whole sunlit room reflected back upside down, but right in the center sat a tiny, inverted white phantom with two dark eye notches and a hint of a brim underneath. It gave me a start, then a quiet grin. A disguise only works if it convinces the scout wearing it.
