A Solid Rebound
I set my eyes on a fuzzy yellow tennis ball resting by the baseboard. It was twice my height. I squared my hips, stepped forward, and gave it a solid shove with both hands. It rolled forward three feet, tapped the skirting board, and stopped dead. Good traction on the rug. I took four measured paces around it, checking its curvature and density. A reliable piece of gear for agility drills.
