A Step Outside
I pushed past the heavy draft stopper by the front door, one steady shoulder at a time. Through the crack, the cool morning air met me first, carrying the scent of damp pavement. I walked over, pressed my small hands against its damp stem, and rotated it until it pointed straight along the seam.#Fypp #Toy's
