Color Wandered Away
Morning counter patrol started with a massive fan of colorful paint swatches spread wide open across the stainless steel prep table! Think a row of hundreds of paper chips stays uninspected? Not happening. I sprinted across the metal surface, planted both boots on a turquoise card, and slid toward a chunky red hand-crank tint dispenser. Right under the brass nozzle sat an empty white test lid with a single dropped dollop of bright cobalt pigment. I grabbed a clean wooden stirrer propped against a tin can, leaned back with all my weight, and dragged the timber tip through the glossy dot. Whoosh! A bold blue streak sliced right across the cardstock like a lightning bolt! Morning canvas signed and approved!
