A Cozy Night Nest

My feet felt wonderfully pleasantly tired after exploring the hallway tracks today. I climbed gently onto the sofa and tucked myself between two plump, woven cushions. Next to me was a soft knitted throw blanket folded into gentle slopes. I nudged a tiny fold forward with my foot to make a quiet, snug hollow. Nestled deep inside the plush cotton, I could hear the calm ticking of the wall clock in the distance. Everything feels so peaceful and safe as the room settles down for the night.
