Mug Perimeter Exit

I braced my back against the inner curve of the mug and wedged my boots upward, gaining leverage against the glazed interior. Reaching the lip, I hauled my torso onto the ceramic rim. The outer descent offered no friction along the smooth surface, but the mug handle curved outward at a forty-five-degree angle directly below me. I pivoted carefully, looped both hands securely around the porcelain arch, and slid down the curvature until my boots settled onto the wooden desktop below. The perimeter of the night post is successfully vacated.
