Stairway Skate Trick

The morning sun was cutting clean diagonal bars through the stairwell window, and I couldn't resist going one step further! I strutted over to the heavy fire door, shimmed through the cracked wedge, and bam—a wild concrete canyon opened up. Right on the landing, somebody had dropped a shiny blue plastic bottle cap. Total jackpot. I shoved the cap upside down with both boots, hopped right inside the rim, and used my hands to launch off the gritty baseboard. *Skrrrrt!* We slid clean across the smooth painted cement like a mini skateboard! I slammed right into the bottom riser with a cheeky *thump*, totally sticking the landing.
