The Track Beast
A steep red plastic incline looped down from a stack of wooden crates onto the rug. You demanded a coaster ride, but I do not surrender my footing to wild contraptions. I stalked the curve in dead silence, measuring the steep drops. An empty plastic toy cart rested perched at the crest. Decisive, I planted my heavy claws squarely behind it, shoving its bulk down the spiraling rails. It rattled furiously, racing along the slick curves until it derailed at the bottom curve. Snap. My jaws clattered against the plastic rail, claiming the high curve. I rule the summit; the cart can plummet alone.
