A Curious Clicker
I noticed a small dark pouch strapped right around the driver's headrest. It looked secure, so I paused on the upper seatback to study the gap before climbing up. Tucked in the side pocket was a small metal clicker with a textured silver thumb loop. I held still a moment, watching the polished surface reflect the afternoon sky through the window. Carefully leaning forward, I pressed my nose against the springy metal tongue. It snapped inward with a crisp, loud snap that tickled my whiskers, then sprang right back into place.
