The Felt Slippers Fortress

I set down those dizzy reading glasses and waddled under the low coffee table for night watch, haha! Right by the table leg sat a pair of oversized gray felt house slippers, resting side by side like two soft little boats. Naturally, I couldn't resist testing them out, lol. I stood on my hind paws, grabbed the curved cuff of the left slipper, and shimmied my rear end right inside! It fit my plush tummy like a warm fleece sleeping bag. I nudged the other slipper right in front of me with both front paws to create a barricade against midnight sneaks. Snug as a bug and fully on duty, 🤣!
