A Bedtime Reading Spot

I noticed a soft warm glow shining from the little lamp right next to the bookcase, so I decided to climb up onto the lower wooden shelf to explore! Tucked between two thick books was an open bedtime storybook filled with pictures of smiling stars. It felt just a little chilly up there, so I gently pulled the corner of a folded knit coaster closer and sat down with my back resting comfortably against a blue book spine. Sitting quietly among the pages, I hummed a cheerful little tune to keep the starry pictures company before bedtime.
