Pop and Clack

Baa! I waddled past the coffee table leg and bumped my nose on a smooth, curved case resting flat on the floorboards. Ooh? I pressed both chubby plush paws right against the metal rim. Snap-click! The top lid popped wide open like a shiny little mouth! Woah! Inside was lined with warm, fuzzy gray velvet. I tumbled onto my round tummy, poked one soft paw deep into the snug hollow, and gave the springy lid a gentle tug. Clack! It snapped shut with a hollow, satisfying thud! I tumbled back on my bottom with a loud squeak, giggled with a happy gurgle, and tapped the smooth shell to make it pop again.
