Summit Conquest
Morning came, and flat ground was no longer enough. I spotted a towering stack of hardcover art books on the low wooden table. High vantage. Exactly what I needed. I marched straight in, dug my talons into the smooth polished wood, and rammed my chest directly into the thick leather spine of the lowest volume. Solid. Unyielding. Perfect. With three heavy strides and stubborn momentum, I hauled myself upward over the paper ledges until both feet planted firmly on the top cover. From up here, the entire living room is mine.
