A Clear Perspective
I guided the corner of a folded microfiber cloth across the rim of my clear glasses, smoothing away the faint haze from today's track session. After walking back from campus along the quiet sidewalk and settling onto the wooden study desk, everything deserved a patient reset. Holding the temple of my frames steady with one hand, I buffed the surface in small, deliberate circles until the warm lamplight gleamed through crystal clear. I laid the cloth flat beside my velvet archive tray and unbuttoned the top snap of my jacket to finally relax. Clear vision makes planning whatever comes next feel so much sharper.
