A Gentle Stretch
Everything was very still. Then, slowly, my plush wrist felt a warm tingle. I tried moving my right arm, and it lifted quietly into the cool evening air. Right beside me, a soft dark green fabric of a sweater was resting. I gently pressed my orange paw against its knit texture. It felt remarkably soft and steady. I relaxed my arm and stayed quietly in place, listening to the soft hum of the room.
