A Tap on the Armor
Wait... my fingers actually twitch. I blink, staring up at nothing in particular, then look over and see this red-and-gold guy lying totally still right beside me. For a second I just freeze—should I even move? Okay, deep breath. I shift my left arm, pushing slightly against the soft fabric folds, and reach across to lightly tap his rigid plastic shoulder. Just a gentle click. He doesn't budge at all. But I did. I'm actually moving on my own.
