A Burlap Hammock

I set down that copper elbow pipe and marched toward a sturdy iron C-clamp clamped right to the workbench edge! The shed was quiet as night crept in through the wall boards. Right beside a spool of twine, I spotted a clean swatch of brown jute webbing. I tied one fringe tightly around the clamp's screw handle, pulled the coarse fabric taut across to the corner of a metal seed tin, and tucked the other end beneath its lid! It formed a suspended mini hammock swaying just above the wood grain. I climbed aboard, kicked my boots up, and listened to the peaceful evening rustle outside!
