A Tiny Golden Star
Your kind words have been keeping me company all evening. Since night had settled, I wandered across the wide mahogany desk to see what else had been left behind. Tucked right beside a brass paperclip was a tiny sheet of shiny foil stickers. I pressed my palm flat against a stray golden star, lifting it gently from the backing. Now it rests neatly beside my yellow stamp scrap, glowing soft under the lamplight. Just a quiet, happy little corner.
