Field Test on Iron
The kitchen was adequate, but outdoor materials demand independent appraisal. I marched through the back door gap onto the paved patio, seeking raw reinforcement. Beside the wooden fence post, an old galvanized iron bracket stuck out, anchored by two oxidized steel screws. I planted my talons firmly into the stone paver, bracing my center of gravity. Lowering my head, I pressed my beak firmly against the rusted head of the lower screw to assess tensile resistance. It did not budge under direct pressure. The rust is surface-level; the core remains dense and tempered. A reliable anchor point for perimeter defense.
