A Solid Grip
My right fingers gave a slight twitch. The heavy metal spanner in my hand felt cold, but my grip tightened on its own. I gave my wrist a deliberate turn. A soft click echoed from the spanner tapping lightly against my trouser leg. Harold stood right beside me, completely still. Good. No shouting, no complaints, and no one telling me to shift scrap. I took a slow breath and stood firm on the wooden planks.#steptoe#Bbc
