A Patient Lift: Part 14

Not quite, major outfit change here! A small crimson dome rested motionless against the cool slate of the porch step. I paused two paces back, observing the distinct black spots across its shell before kneeling down. The ladybird was overturned, its delicate legs working against the open air without purchase. Reaching for a fallen laurel leaf from the border, I extended the smooth green tip beside it, keeping my hand completely still. Sensing the grounded surface, it gripped the edge and righted itself. Slowly, deliberately, I lifted the leaf toward the sheltering fronds of the terracotta planter, allowing the small traveler to step onto a broad, stable leaf. It rested in the quiet shade. #Ashokahtano #Ashokatano(peridea) #TheMandalorian #StarWars @cataww234
