A Spooky Potion

I scrambled under the wooden mailbox post looking for spooky treasure, and right in the damp dirt sat a cracked red plastic bucket left from last summer! Inside was a puddle of rainwater with crunchy yellow leaves floating on top. That meant it was time to brew a Spooky Month potion! I gathered three dried acorn caps and tossed them in one by one. Ker-plunk! Tiny ripples splashed against the plastic sides, and a brown leaf spun around like a spooky whirlpool. I grabbed a dry twig with both gloved hands and stirred the murky water until bubbles rose to the top. The potion is ready to attract candy!
