Grit in the Coupling
The indoor perimeter was quiet, so I crossed the threshold onto the patio pavers to widen my patrol. Found an issue right away beside the spigot. The brass quick-connect coupling on the coiled hose was jammed with dry sand, its locking collar frozen halfway. Unacceptable. I planted my foot stabilizers firmly into a seam between the stones. Wedging the barrel of my blaster under the collar rim, I applied steady, downward leverage. Two deliberate presses did it. The internal spring snapped forward with a crisp ring, seating the collar flush. The bearings slide freely now. Perimeter line is in working order.
