The Silky Sleep Mask

I scrambled straight up the quilted duvet and locked eyes with a silky, padded sleep mask stretched across the pillow! It looked just like an oversized visor meant for night flyers. Naturally, I dove right through the elastic band to pull it on! Boing—the stretchy strap caught around my round tummy instead, springing back with a soft snap. The momentum flipped me into a giggly backward somersault straight into the plush hollow of the pillow. When I settled, the smooth satin mask was draped snugly over my body like a cool, gentle quilt, keeping me perfectly cozy for bedtime!
