Planter Hop Trial

I slipped through the courtyard draft seal to test outdoor mobility on uneven terrain. A row of three empty terracotta planters sat along the garden wall, spaced perfectly for a balance run. I hopped onto the first rim; the coarse clay offered solid grip against my talons. Spreading both wings outward for counterweight, I calibrated the gap, bent my knee joints, and sprang cleanly across to the second pot. The container tilted slightly on the mulch, but shifting my tail block stabilized my center of gravity immediately. A final leap landed me squarely on the third rim. My chassis handled the outdoor obstacle course without a slip.
