The Clay Pot Perch
I bounced up from the gravel onto the slatted lower shelf of the wooden potting bench. A tiny terracotta seedling pot lay tipped on its side right next to a dry seed pod. Compressing my round fluff, I gave a firm shove with my side, rolling the little pot until its rim rested against a weathered wooden block. *Boing!* I launched myself straight onto the curved orange rim. It rocked, then held perfectly steady under my weight. From up here, I can watch the entire garden path!
