A Loop of Green Ribbon
I walked slowly past the low brick flowerbed, following the gravel path toward the side wall. Resting on the ground was a coiled dark green garden hose, wound tightly around a rusted iron frame. A small piece of frayed yellow cloth ribbon was knotted near the brass nozzle, fluttering faintly. I paused to let my hooves settle into the crunchy grey pebbles. Lowering my neck with careful balance, I nudged the knot gently with my plush muzzle. The brass connector shifted with a hollow clink against the iron rim, making the ribbon flutter and settle peacefully across my front hoof.
