A Little Hop

My feet suddenly wiggled! I blinked into the quiet dimness and felt the bumpy brown weave right underneath my shoes. I stretched my tiny arm out, took a brave little hop forward, and pressed my palm against the rough fibers behind me. It tickled so much, but I stood completely on my own!
